At Trivette’s Roofing and Guttering we do residential and commercial roofing. We primarily specialize in installing asphalt shingles, but we also specialize in installing metal and rubber/flat roofing.
When we start roofing a house, we make sure to leave your home looking the way it was before we arrived. We lay down tarps around the home to protect your bushes, flowers bed, etc., around the house. We also try to get our dump trailer or dump truck as close to the home as possible so we can put as much debris straight in there to not have as much debris on the ground and around your home.
We tear off the roof all the way to the sheeting. We re nail the sheeting to make sure the roof is secure. Also, if there is any rotting sheeting it will be replaced before installing the rest of the roof.
Next we lay down synthetic felt. Synthetic felt is an effective barrier from water and is much lighter than regular felt. Then we install ice and water shield around the perimeters of the roof and in the valleys. This helps protect the vulnerable areas of the roof.
After, we mark lines from the bottom to the top of the roof to ensure the shingles are installed nice and straight. We put down a starter shingle on the edges of the roof. This eliminates the need to cut shingle tabs and makes installing shingles cleaner.
Then we install shingles from left to right. After we install ridge vent to help protect your roof by letting heat and moisture escape from the attic. Lastly, we install hip and ridge shingles. They help protect the ridge vent and enhances the appearance of your roof.
After we finish installing the roof, we go around and lean up all job oriented debris. We are very detailed with our clean up. We rake up all the debris. We also take a nail magnet roller around the house to pick up the majority of the nails. Then we go back around and clean up anything the magnet roller might have missed. We also clean out the gutters and downspouts of job oriented debris.
Gutters are another specialty of ours. Putting gutters on your home will help direct rain or even melting snow away from your house. They will also protect your entire house in different ways. Such as your roof from leaking, your windows from collecting mold, and even your foundation from wearing away.
We offer 5inch and 6inch gutters. Along with either regular downspouts and commercial downspouts.
We also offer gutter guards. Gutter guards help prevent build up of leaves or any other debris that can clog your gutters. There are different types of gutter guards that can be installed depending on what area you may be in.
When we come out to install new gutters, the process is quite simple. We first measure around your home to ensure we have the right measurements when we run out the gutters. Then we take down your existing gutters. We check facial boards and metal to make sure they are in good condition.
Then we run out your new gutters per the measurements we took previously. We then screw in your new gutters. We go back around that they are installed correctly. Then we clean up job oriented debris and haul it off.
We are a family-owned and operated business, with the owner of Trivette's Roofing and Guttering, a third-generation roofer. His grandfather started business in 1955. The owner is on every job site, working side by side with our crew to ensure all the materials are installed precisely. We are fully licensed and insured to give you peace of mind while we work on your home. We offer a 20-year workmanship warranty on all roof installations. If you have any issues, we will come out and fix them for you. The roofing materials we primarily install, Owens Corning and Timberline GAF shingles, offer a 40-year manufacturing warranty.
